The ruins of Saltcoats Castle in the fields just outside Gullane. This was a diversion from our planned route but curiousity won out.
After leaving Gullane we spent an hour or so waking in an area known as Scotland's Golf Coast. Indeed a major tournament was in the process of beginning. After that we headed through the fields toward a cooler coastal walk into North Berwick.
