Badwater Basin

The mud and salt formations from last year are no more. Floods in November appear to have disovled most areas in the basin. This area is along the West Side Road.

This is the lower area of dunes just to the south of the main complex. I prefer it because there is a lot less foot traffic to deal with. This evening we were pleasantly suprised by a spectacular sunset.
