Kauai's southern coast offers a beautiful wilderness trail across high lithified cliffs and remote beaches not used by tourists.
This is the beach at our accomodation in Kapaa at sunrise with a very low tide. Exactly what I was hoping for - nice reflections in the lava pools.
Waimea Canyon can be difficult to shoot as it rains or is clouded in so much of the time. After waiting an hour or so we finally got a 10 minute window with some nice views.
