Wonderful backlit scene with a springbok in glowing grass just as the sun reachs the horizon.

Getting a little feisty around the watering hole. One has to wonder what the wildebeest hanging back are thinking...

A springbok keeping a very close eye on an approaching lioness.
Lioness on the Lookout #1
We encountered this lioness one morning before sunrise as she went in search of prey.
Having finished their evening business at the waterhole, these three elephants headed back to the bush.
Walvis Bay Egret
While shooting flamingoes at Wallis Bay I couldn't pass up an opportunity to shoot this guy working hard for a tasty meal.

A part of the Sossusvlei dune field, the famous Dead Vlei is a large salt pan with dead camel thorn trees, some 1000 years old.
Red Namib Dunes
A massive dune shot just before sunset in the Sossusvlei dune field. It's a wonderful play of light and shadow, vertical and horizontal lines.
Quiver Trees at Sunrise
Interesting bark pattern and texture on a Quiver tree near Keetmanshoop, Namibia. The trees are actually a part of the Aloe Vera family.
