Arches NP Reflection
This was taken in Arches NP at the La Sal Mountains Viewpoint not long after rains passed through. The rock formation in the reflection doesn't have a name that I could find.
Lower Antelope Canyon #4
Stunning combinations of color, textures, and varying levels of light.
Lower Antelope Canyon #3
Stunning combinations of color, textures, and varying levels of light. This one is known as the Lady in the Wind, or Windy Lady.
Waves in Sandstone, Water Hole Canyon
Located near Page AZ, there is a large area of sandstone waves or ridges just above the rim of Water Hole Canyon. Very interesting. This was taken just as the sun was about to set.
Secret Canyon
Tumbleweed perched on a ledge softly illuminated by reflected light coming through the slot overhead as sand flows over the edge.
Lower Antelope Canyon #2
Lower Antelope Canyon #1

Desert View on the Grand Canyon's South Rim
Sunset shot with a very hazy sky at Desert View. I like the haze because it accentuates the ridge lines in the distance.
Cape Royale on Grand Canyon's North Rim #2
Rich late afternoon light infusing the canyon and cliffs with a warm glow as sunset approaches.

Saguaro at Sunrise
Another view the the Saguaro sculpture, this time at sunrise. The foliage in the foreground provides depth as well as a wonderful backlit frame for the scene.
Saguaro Sunset
Sun's rays at sunset shown behind the arm of a metal cactus sculpture, entitled Saguaro, near Borrego Springs.
Mesquite Dunes at Sunset
Multiple layers of color, shape and texture are what make this image so special to me. It was shot just as the sun was receding behind the mountains to the west and the shadow line began to creep into my foreground.
Mesquite Sand Dunes (Solarized Rendition)
Shot near sunset in the central part of the Mesquite Dune Complex, I particularly liked the simplicity of this image. That led me to processing it as a solarized image giving it the look and feel of a Japanese block print.
